Welcome to Alsalam

Alsalam Community Development Association

ACDA is a non-profit organization. ACDA was established in 2019 by families that felt the need to have a facility in order to harbor the community and help preserve its cultural and social relations atmosphere. Now holding gatherings in a rented unit, with cooperation from various families.

Today, ACDA strives to create one facility that offers the services of a community, school, youth centre, social hub, funeral service and a cultural and educational centre. The scouts, school and youth programs are operating successfully with their highest numbers ever and the growth is constant. We looking for our first ever property in Mississauga, to help us further grow and expand. Since then, the ACDA community has been growing year after year.

There are currently almost 250 voting Members of the ACDA of GTA, which when including family members translates to approximately 750 individuals.

Today, the Community successfully carries out its own burial facilities, youth programs, periodic publications, library, seniors’ activities.

The Executive Committee of the ACDA of Mississauga would be remiss if it did not recognize the tireless efforts of the volunteers that serve the Community.

Indeed, serving and managing the affairs of a Community of this size requires dedication, organization and a collective desire to “be your neighbour’s keeper.
